THE AMERICAN DREAM TEAM AT PTO

As befitting what is now a truly international event, two top American speakers are to be included in their exciting programme in Taba, Egypt, 27 January to 3 February 2009.

Jane Connor-Ziser is a true media artist with over 25 years experience in the portrait photography industry. From her earlier days as a much sought after retouching artist she was one of the first to embrace the new digital imaging technology in the late 1980’s being selected by Kodak and the Professional Photographers of America to deliver one of the first ever keynote seminars on digital enhancement. She now travels the world conducting seminars in between creating unusual works of art for her clients.

Her background is in fine arts and she began oil painting at an early age, her hobbies include writing poetry, making jewelry, writing and sculpting. A product of the sixties Jane still considers herself to be a “hippie” creating, sharing, seeing, experiencing and being part of the positive energy flow that connects people.

Jane met portrait photographer Patrick Ciatto in Florida in 2002 and they decided to combine their talents. Patrick comes from a medical background where he won many awards for his breakthrough imagery at the National Eye Institute in Maryland. He moved into people photography and studied for a while with the late great Monty Zucker. His goal is to offer a wide range of images for his clients without any creative boundaries which with the undoubted talents of his partner he can now achieve. Patrick will conduct an evening seminar and Jane a daily workshop on the January 2009, PTO course.

Other exciting speakers include: Charlie Waite the doyen of landscape photographers, Jim Lowe a talented architectural photographer and lecturer; Paul Callaghan the Republic of Ireland’s most creative wedding photographer and their latest “Fellow”; Liesbeth Davidse an unusual fashionable portrait photographer from the Netherlands recently featured in ‘The Photographer magazine’; Dave Wall a master of Light Room, Photo Shop and in fact anything digital; Lesley Wood a student of the Annabel Williams School of Contemporary photography, specialising in outdoor child imagery and one of the UK’s brightest stars Kelly Hearn the current UK wedding photographer of the year!If that isn't enough to wet your appetite then in addition to Patrick Ciatto's evening seminar on portrait lighting and posing there will be Phil & Juliet Jones on web marketing, Tom Murray on 50 years of celebrity photography which includes Royalty, Film Stars and the world famous Beatles Summer of 68 collection, plus the ever popular print critique competition, a cultural trip a Gala Awards event and unlimited networking.

The hotel is the salubrious French owned Sofitel on "all-inclusive" board arrangement, daytime flights, transfers and in flight meals included at the remarkable price of £850 for delegates and £650 for non-delegates. Visit the PTO website for full details and booking information plus in-depth information on all the speakers. www.pto-uk.com
